Day ♥ 57 ♥ Mono Orange Juice

Day 57 ♥
Today, I was very thankful for a lovely delivery of Organic Oranges from Maleny Organic Farmers' Market.
Not only is their fruit lovely but they are lovely people to connect with.

Cappi was also happy because we also ordered 3 large punnets of organic Mulberries for him.
Mulberries are one of his favourite fruits.
The Orange quality and ripeness has been very good, and I am very thankful for this.
I am sure that quality and ripeness of Citrus are the keys to ensuring a great experience on a mono diet. Teeth, the digestive system, and nutrition will all be more likely to be optimal when the fruit eaten is also optimal.

I would like to add some words from Dr. Leon A. Wilcox, as quoted in Hilton Hotema's book, 'Long-Life In Florida'.
Wilcox was an American physician who used Orange juice to help people heal themselves.
One of his famous cases is of the girl who lived on Orange juice for six months. This case is also mentioned in Hotema's book.

" KING OF FRUITS
After having given the question of fruits twenty years of study and research not only by personal use but also by the direction and treatment of patients. I have arrived at the conclusion that the orange is the king of all  fruits.
Very few would believe the length of time an individual can live and perform the hardest of work, both mental and physical, using absolutely nothing but oranges for food. Another very important thing; a sick person living exclusively on an orange diet, is not only getting all the nourishment a body requires, but the orange will neutralize the acid in the system and prove a better medicine than any drug known to pharrmacy."

Now Wilcox sounds like my kind of doctor!
It is inspiring and encouraging for me to read the words of those that have gone before and paved the way with their knowledge and experience.

Day 30 Mono Orange Juice

Day 30 ♥
Today I found a new supplier of Organic Oranges, including local Valencias.
The last lot of Biodynamic Oranges I did not find ripe enough for me, so I looked for an alternative source.
I would much rather support Organic farmers and put the juice from Organic Oranges in my body.
I think that many commercially grown fruits lack that special something because they are grown in almost 'factory farm' conditions.
They do not seem to have the care given to them that local or Biodynamic or Organic fruits do.
I appreciate that the grower needs to make a living but when profit is put before everything else then I believe that that something is lost and the quality and vitality of the fruit suffers.
If I am to live off Oranges, then I neeed the most vital ones I can find.

I am feeling very limber and fluid in my joints. My body feels very 'free' and light.
I am still really enjoying my time on Orange juice, but the last couple of days have been more of a challenge because the Oranges have not been so ripe.
When one juices each Orange individually in the mouth then each one needs to taste good and ripe. I am  amazed at the range in flavours that occurs between different Oranges, and I feel that I am able to really appreciate this when I juice each fruit individually.

Midday— 9 Biodynamic Oranges, juiced in mouth.
