Cranberry Smoothie Recipes
Cranberry, Banana & Honey Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 1)
1 cup vanilla soy milk or skim milk
1/4 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
1/2 banana
1-2 teaspoons honey
3 tablespoons soy protein powder, optional
1/4 cup ice cubes, optional
Method
Place all ingredients in a blender; blend on high for 15 seconds, or until thick and frothy. If you like it thinner, then simply add a little bit of water.
Cranberry Peach & Banana Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 2)
1 banana
1/2 bag cranberries
2 peaches from can plus the juice
orange juice to thin
Method
Cut up the banana and place in a blender. Cut canned peaches into chunks and add the liquid the peaches are canned in. Add the cranberries and a bit of orange juice and blued to a smooth consistency.
Cranberry Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 1)
Handful of cranberries
250ml cranberry juice
Handful of grapes
400ml of natural yoghurt
Handful of ice
Method
Wash the cranberries well and remove the stalks. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend away until the smoothie is nice and smooth. The grapes will make the smoothie sweeter but are by no means essential!
Strawberry Yoghurt & Cranberry Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 1)
1 cup strawberry yogurt
1/4 cup strawberry nectar
1/4 cup cranberry juice cocktail
1-1/2 cups fresh strawberries
Method
Place all ingredients in a blender. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour in a tall glass and serve chilled.
Cranberry & Beetroot Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients (serves 2)
60 g cooked beetroot, drained and cubed
25 g fresh, canned or frozen (defrosted) raspberries, (reserve a few for decoration)
65 ml cranberry juice, chilled
100 ml Be Good To Yourself Greek natural yoghurt
juice of 1/4 lime
mint leaves to garnish
Method
Place the beetroot & raspberries into the blender with the cranberry juice and blend on full power until smooth. Sieve out the raspberry pips. Pour into large glasses and swirl a large spoonful of yoghurt into each glass. Serve chilled immediately decorated with a few raspberries and a fresh mint leaf.
