Strawberry Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 2)
2 cups frozen unsweetened strawberries
1/2 cup cranberry / raspberry juice
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
2 fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)
Method
Strawberry smoothies can be made with fresh or frozen strawberries.
If you're using frozen strawberries, look for pre-sliced frozen strawberries, because they are easier to blend. If using fresh strawberries for this strawberry smoothie recipe, add ice to achieve a milkshake-like texture. Place the strawberries in the bottom of a blender. Add the juices. Top with the yogurt and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish with each with a strawberry.
Vanilla Strawberry Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 1)
2 ice cubes
1 c. milk
1/3 c. cottage cheese
2/3 c. frozen strawberries
1½ tsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Method
Pour all of the ingredients into the blender. Put the lid on the blender and blend for 45 to 60 seconds until smooth. Pour your smoothie into a glass and enjoy.
Breakfast Strawberry Smoothie recipe
Ingredients (Serves 1)
240ml/8fl.oz. Milk
50g/2oz Rolled Oats
1 Banana
250g/9oz Strawberries
½ teasp Vanilla Extract
1 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup
2-4 Ice Cubes, cracked
Method
Each portion supplies 1.5 of your recommended 5-a-day. Place all of the Ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

175g/6oz Strawberries
240ml/8fl.oz. Milk
300ml/10fl.oz. Strawberry Ice Cream
1 teaspoon grated Lemon Zest

Ingredients (Serves 1)
½ Cantaloupe Melon, peeled, seeded and cut into pieces
240ml/8fl.oz. Orange Juice
250g/9oz Strawberries
Honey to taste (1-2 tbsp)
4 Large Ice Cubes
