Day 22 Mono Orange Juice

Day 22, and I am still having a good ride on the Orange juice train.
It has been very hot here in South East Queensland, but the heat has fitted in well with my juice diet, and I have relished the heat and not needed even a fan on. Also I have been sleeping well in the sultry nights.

I have just bought a couple of old booklets, on the internet, by the Californian Fruit Growers Exchange (later to become 'Sunkist'). These Booklets were originally available by post free from the Exchange in the 1920's and 1930's.
One is about eating more fruit and less fat, and also about what acidosis really is, and how even though the citrus fruits are ph acidic, they have an alkaline effect upon the body.
The second pamphlet is about a study done in the 1930's that showed children who had a daily glass of citrus juice added to their diet had  greatly improved tooth and gum health.
I have seen this study mentioned earlier in another Exchange booklet, but this booklet is soley about the study and goes into it in further detail.
I am interested to see how the Orange juice given, really improved the dental health of the children.
The publication is called 'World's New Dental Story New Facts About Teeth and Gums and Diet'.

There seems to be so much information out there saying that fruit is not great for teeth and that citrus especially can damage teeth, that it is wonderful to see a study showing the opposite.
I  do appreciate however that unripe fruit, especially citrus can create issues with dental enamel.
