Blackberry Smoothie Recipes


Yoghurt & Blackberry Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 1)

1/2 cup blackberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup yoghurt
1/2 cup ice cubes
1/2 a banana
1 tbsp of sugar

Method

Blend the ice with the banana and yoghurt until smooth. Add more ice cube as needed. Add the blackberries next and blend on low for 30 seconds and add sugar as needed for flavor.

Ice Cream Blackberry Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 1)

1/2 cup blackberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
1/2 banana
1/2 cup milk

Method

Blend the milk with the banana and and blackberries until a slushy texture is formed. Add ice cream for extra sweetness and blend till smooth.

Berry Collection Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (serves 2-3)

1/2 medium cup of blackberries
1/2 medium cup of slices strawberries
1/2 small cup of raspberries
1/2 small cup of blueberries
1 1/2 medium size cups of milk
6 ice-cubes
sugar if desired

Method

Blend all ingredients till smooth. If preferred, sieve seeds out before serving and add sugar according to taste. Serve.

Blackberry and Honeydew Melon Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (serves 2)

2 cups of frozen blackberries
2 cups honeydew melon (fresh or frozen)
1/3 cup of sugar (or more to taste)

Method

Blast all ingredients in a blender on a high setting. Pour and serve in a tall glass.

Blackberry Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (serves 1)

1 banana
1 good handful of blackberries
1 scoop of low-fat vanilla ice cream

Method

To make this quick free smoothie recipe blend banana and blackberries in your blender for approx 35 seconds. Next add the vanilla ice-cream then blend for a further 20 seconds. Serve smooth and enjoy.
