Cherry Smoothie Recipes


Ben and Jerry Cherry Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 1)

1 sweet orange peeled and sliced
1/2 cup pitted cherries
1/2 cup pitted and sliced cherry pieces
1/2 cup ice cubes
1/2 a banana
1/2 cup Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia (Other flavors may work as well)

Method

This recipe combines two favorites of many people, Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia and fresh cherries. A very sweet smoothie recipe with ice cream and cherry pieces. Blend the unsliced cherries, ice cubes, banana, and ice cream until a smooth texture is formed. Sprinkle the sliced cherry pieces into your cup and pour the smoothie on top. Sprinkle more cherry pieces on top and enjoy a very cherry smoothie.


Yoghurt & Cherry Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 1)

1/2 cherry yoghurt
1 cup of pitted cherries
1/2 banana
1/2 cup milk

Method

Blend the milk with the banana and yoghurt on high for 1 minute. Add the cherries and blend on low speed for 30 seconds. The smoothie should have a red color due to the cherries.

Cherry Peach & Apple Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 1)

1/2 cup pitted cherries
1 apple sliced in sections
1 cup pitted and sliced peaches
1 cup ice cubes
1 medium banana
1/2 cup milk

Method

This recipe is very easy to make and the result is a very tasty smoothie. The addition of sugar is optional but the smoothie will usually already be sweet enough for most people. Blend the banana, crushed ice, and milk together for about 30 seconds. Then add the cherries, apples, and peaches and blend for an additional minute on high till the fruit is mixed. Serve and enjoy.

Cherry Charmer Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 1)

120g cherries (stoned)
140g strawberries
1 pear (peeled and quartered)
5 ice cubes
Fresh mint leaves and few strawberries to garnish

Method

Put the ice cubes into the blender and whizz. Add cherries, strawberries and quartered pear. Blend until smooth. Pour smoothie into the glass and garnish with mint leaf and strawberries.

Cherry Morning Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 1)

100g cherries (stoned)
250g watermelon (peeled and deseeded)
100ml apple juice
Crushed ice
Extra watermelon to garnish

Method

Great cleansing and refreshing smoothie recipe. Put the watermelon into the blender and whizz. Add cherries and apple juice and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass over crushed ice and garnish with chopped piece of watermelon.

Cantaloupe Lime & Cherry Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 1)

1 cantaloupe melon, peeled, deseeded and cut into chunks
1 lime, peeled and quartered
20 - 25 pitted cherries

Method

Refreshing cleansing smoothie recipe that could be used as non-alcoholic aperitif too. Cantaloupe melon has high water content and is packed with digestive enzymes. Lime adds a citrus tang and increases the detoxifying action. Cherries are good to help to flush out the kidneys and to soothe stomach. Press alternate chunks of melon, lime and cherries through a juicer. Stir well and drink immediately.
