Lemon Smoothie Recipes


Apple Lemon & Lime

Ingredients (Serves 1)

4 apples
1 lemon, peeled and quartered
2 limes, peeled and quartered

Method

Ultimate cleansing smoothie recipe. For maximum cleansing, drink this juice on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. Apples are detoxifying because they contain pectin that helps to flus out cholesterol, heavy metals and toxins from your body. The citrid acid in lemon and lime also helps to get rid of these toxins. Press alternate chunks of fruit through a juicer. Stir well and drink immediately.

Lemon Passion Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (serves 2)

Juice of 1/2 lemon
2 mangoes
2 handfuls of raspberries
150ml pure apple juice

Method

This quick free fruit smoothie recipe is simple to make. Place the mangoes, raspberries, lemon and apple juice into the blender. Blend for approximately 45 seconds, serve chilled and enjoy.

Lemon and Banana Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (serves 1)

150ml pure orange juice
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 banana
1 tsp honey

Method

To make this quick lemon and banana fruit smoothie recipe simply place all ingredients into a blender / mixer and blast away for around 30 seconds. Serve at once and enjoy your smoothie.

Lemon and Mint Melon Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients(serves 2)

½ cup of diced honeydew melon
½ cup of low fat lemon yogurt
1 cup frozen green grapes
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh mint
Fresh lemon juice to taste (if preferred)

Method

Put the honeydew melon and lemon yogurt in a blender. Next add the grapes and mint then blend until smooth. Taste and add lemon juice if you like.

Strawberry Lemon Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 4)

2 cups lemonade
2 cups frozen strawberries
1 cup lemon yogurt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

Combine all in a blender and mix until smooth. Pour in tall chilled glasses.
